Find Privacy

How Mindwell Find uses directory searches, matching answers, account information, and saved items.

Who We Are & What This Covers

Mindwell World LLC operates Mindwell Find at find.mindwell.ai and is responsible for the information described here. Contact [email protected] with privacy questions or requests.

This notice covers Find’s directory, matching, profiles, and saved items. Mindwell Journal’s separate Privacy Policy continues to apply to Journal. Providers you contact through Find have their own privacy practices.

Searches & Matching Answers

We process the searches and filters you submit to find relevant profiles. Matching can use your selected location, type of support, language, provider preferences, session format, availability, payment preferences, insurance, and budget. Some choices may reveal health-related interests or other sensitive information.

When you ask to see matches, your answers are sent to Find’s service to produce results. They do not stay only on your device. The current questionnaire compares your selected preferences with directory information; it is not a clinical assessment.

Unsaved answers, comparisons, and results are kept in memory during your visit. Reloading or starting a fresh visit can reset them. We do not automatically turn an unsaved questionnaire into a saved account record. Request processing and operational records are separate from the browser’s temporary state.

Favorites & Explicit Saves

When signed out, favorites and filters or answers you explicitly save are stored in this browser profile. They remain until you remove them or clear this site’s browser data. Anyone using that browser profile may be able to view them.

When signed in, saved items are associated with your Mindwell account so you can retrieve them through the service. Use the saved-item controls to delete individual items. Clearing browser data does not delete account-saved items.

Your color preference is also stored in your browser if you choose one. Cookies & Storage explains the storage used by Find and how to manage it.

Accounts, Support & Professional Profiles

Signing in uses Mindwell’s account services to identify your account and authorize access to private features. We process account identifiers and session information for those features. You can browse the public directory without signing in.

If you contact support or submit a correction, we process the information you provide and related records needed to respond, investigate, and protect the service. Please avoid sending medical records or unnecessary sensitive information.

Public professional listings can contain names, professional contact information, practice locations, services, qualifications, and other profile details supplied by the provider or obtained from public professional sources. Providers can request corrections or claim their listing through the available profile controls.

Service Providers & External Websites

Hosting, database, authentication, delivery, and security services process information needed to operate Find. This may include IP addresses, browser and device information, requested URLs, timestamps, and diagnostic information. We use operational information to deliver requests, troubleshoot problems, and prevent abuse.

We do not send your matching questionnaire to listed providers as a referral. When you choose to call, email, open a provider’s website, or use a map, that separate service receives information associated with your action and applies its own terms and privacy practices.

We may disclose information when required by law, to respond to lawful requests, or to protect users and the service. Information can be processed in the United States and other locations where our service providers operate.

Optional Measurement & Advertising

Optional services start off. Where embedded Google Maps is available, you can enable it under Functional in Cookies & Storage; external map links remain available when it is off. Analytics is unavailable until a measurement service is connected and disclosed. We will request a new choice before enabling a newly introduced optional service.

We do not use advertising cookies on Find. Browser cookie choices do not authorize use of your matching answers for advertising or change the handling of data needed to provide a feature you request.

Retention & Security

Browser-saved items stay until you delete them or clear site data. Saved account items remain available until deleted through the service or handled as part of an account request. Operational, support, and security records may be retained for troubleshooting, abuse prevention, resolving disputes, and legal obligations; these records have a different lifecycle from browser storage.

We use access controls and other technical safeguards to protect information. No system can guarantee absolute security. Use a trusted device and avoid saving sensitive preferences in a shared browser.

Your Choices & Privacy Requests

You can browse without an account, skip optional matching questions, delete saved items, reset your theme, and change your Cookies & Storage preferences. Rejecting optional measurement does not prevent you from using Find.

Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information, restrict or object to certain uses, withdraw consent, or complain to a privacy regulator. To make a request, email [email protected] and identify Find as the product. We may need to verify that the request relates to you. Do not send identification documents or medical information unless we specifically arrange a secure way to do so.

Global Privacy Control keeps optional audience measurement off in our browser controls. Those controls apply to this website and browser, not to independent provider websites or other Mindwell products.

Updates

We will update this notice when Find’s practices change and provide additional notice where required. The date above identifies this version. You can reach the current notice from Find’s footer and matching flow.
