Move through your entries, search your journal, and revisit a day in the calendar.

Open a tab. Settle in.

Visit app.mindwell.ai and sign in. The web app runs in your browser, with no separate desktop installer.

Your journal and your browser.
Two places, different roles.

Your account holds your saved journal.

The web app saves entries to Mindwell’s cloud under your signed-in account. Cloud-backed entries can be accessed across supported devices using that same account, within your plan’s limits.

Entries kept only on your phone stay on that phone until you choose to back them up. Signing in on the web does not transfer them by itself.

How sync works

Your browser keeps some local data.

Sign-in state, preferences, and some cached information can stay in the browser you use. Clearing site data can remove those local details and require you to sign in again.

Clearing browser data does not delete entries already saved to your Mindwell account. It is also not a substitute for deleting your account or its cloud data.

Your account and your choices

Same journal.
Different ways to spend time with it.

A little care
for your private space.

Your choices matter wherever you write.

Read our privacy policy

Choose what you share.

Writing an entry does not publish it. Share links are a separate action, with controls for access and expiration.

Choose what you attach.

Location and weather have their own controls in Settings. Your browser may also ask for permission to use your location or microphone.

Be mindful of shared computers.

Use a browser profile you trust, sign out when you finish, and check for any files you downloaded. Closing a tab is not the same as signing out.

Good to know.

Is this a downloadable desktop app?

No. Mindwell Journal on the web runs at app.mindwell.ai in your browser. There is no separate desktop app to install. The iOS and Android apps are available from the Download page.

Do I need a paid plan?

You need a Mindwell account to journal on the web. Free accounts have cloud limits; paid plans provide higher limits and additional features. Check Pricing for the current allowances.

Can I use a private or incognito window?

You can sign in from a private window, but browsers usually discard its local site data when the private session ends. That does not undo cloud saves or make activity anonymous to Mindwell. Wait for your entry to save before closing the session.

Will every entry from my phone appear here?

Only entries saved to the cloud under the same account can appear on the web. Entries you keep local to your phone do not sync. Media availability also depends on your backup settings, plan limits, and completed uploads.
