Find Terms

Terms for browsing providers, using matching, and saving your preferences on Mindwell Find.

About These Terms

Mindwell Find is a directory and discovery service operated by Mindwell World LLC. These terms apply to find.mindwell.ai, including provider search, matching, profiles, and saved items. By using Find, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Find.

These terms do not replace the separate terms for Mindwell Journal or agreements for professional accounts and paid services through Mindwell Partner.

Finding Support

Find helps you explore therapists and wellness professionals using information about their services and your preferences. Find is not a healthcare provider and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or a clinical assessment. Using Find does not establish a professional relationship with Mindwell or any listed provider.

Find is not an emergency or crisis service. If there is immediate danger, contact local emergency services. Visit Crisis Support for additional resources.

Profiles, Verification & Matches

Profiles may include information supplied by professionals and information from public professional sources. Some profiles have not been claimed by the professional. Information may be incomplete or become out of date.

A verification badge describes the checks explained on our Verification page. A listing, badge, or match is not an endorsement, guarantee of quality, or assurance that a provider is appropriate for you.

Matching uses the preferences you submit and available directory information. Results are suggestions to explore, not clinical recommendations. Confirm credentials, location eligibility, services, availability, fees, insurance, and any other important details directly with the provider.

Contacting A Provider

Providers operate independently of Mindwell. They are responsible for their professional services, advice, appointments, fees, and their own privacy practices. Booking or contacting a provider may take you to an external website, phone service, or email application.

Find does not guarantee that a provider will reply or accept you as a client. Any service agreement or payment arrangement you enter into with a provider is between you and that provider.

Your Account & Saved Items

You are responsible for the information you submit and for keeping your account access secure. Provide information you are authorized to use, and avoid submitting another person’s sensitive information without permission.

When signed out, favorites and explicitly saved filters or answers are stored in your browser. When signed in, these items may be saved to your Mindwell account. Browser-saved items are not a backup and may be lost if you clear site data or change browsers. See Find Privacy for details.

Personal Use & Sharing

You may browse Find, compare professionals, view matches, contact providers, and save profiles or preferences using our features. Share links to Find and individual profiles as widely as you wish. People, bots, and automated services may distribute those links and brief attributed previews or summaries without a license fee or separate permission request.

Personal use, accessibility, education, and other noncompeting informational uses are allowed subject to the collection and training restrictions below. Link to the original profile and identify Mindwell Find when sharing its material. We can grant only rights we hold; sharing permission does not override providers’ rights in their photos or biographies, privacy obligations, or other third-party rights. Providers remain free to use their own information and content.

Personal notes, bookmarks, saved items, and the technical storage needed for permitted sharing and discovery are allowed. Sharing does not authorize republishing full profiles as another directory or assembling the information into a reusable provider database. The restriction concerns the use of Find information, not whether someone seeking support happens to work for a competitor.

Search & AI Discovery

Search engines, AI search and answer services, and tools reading on a user's behalf may crawl our public pages to help people discover Mindwell and its content. They may display links, titles, brief excerpts, and concise summaries, with clear attribution and links to the original pages. This includes finding and summarizing individual public provider profiles in response to a person’s search.

People, bots, and automated services may share links, generate sharing previews, and help others discover our pages. Technical caches and internal indexes reasonably needed to deliver those links, previews, and search results are permitted. This limited permission does not authorize an independently reusable content library, directory, database, data feed, or training corpus, or an interface that serves extracted collections instead of directing people to Mindwell.

Crawlers must identify themselves accurately, respect applicable robots.txt directives, rate limits, and access controls, and avoid excessive traffic. This permission covers public pages, not accounts, private information, signed-in features, or non-public endpoints. We may restrict a crawler that misuses the service.

Sharing, search indexing, and AI-generated summaries are different from training a model. The discovery permission does not authorize AI training or fine-tuning. A public URL, accessible response, or Allow directive in robots.txt does not expand these permissions. Uses expressly allowed here do not require a separate request.

No Directory Harvesting Or Competing Reuse

Without Mindwell’s prior written permission, do not harvest or systematically collect Find listings or profile content to create, populate, enrich, or maintain another directory, reusable database, or data feed. This applies whether the collection is commercial, noncommercial, public, private, or described as research. The specific permissions for personal notes, sharing, and search discovery above remain available.

Without Mindwell’s prior written permission, do not access, collect, copy, or use information obtained from Find to develop, launch, populate, enrich, validate, update, or operate a competing product, or help someone else do so. A competing product includes another therapist or wellness-provider directory, listing or provider-discovery service, provider matching or referral product, or provider database or data feed that substitutes for or supplies such a service. This applies even to a free product or a product that also offers other features.

For these competing purposes, crawling, scraping, robots, scripts, AI agents, browser automation, manual copying, and collection through third parties are prohibited. The restriction is not limited to copying the entire directory or reaching a minimum number of profiles.

The protected collection includes listings, profile descriptions, photographs, contact details, practice locations, credentials, specialties, methods, fees, availability, verification information, search and matching results, and their organization. The restriction applies across pages, structured data, files, APIs, and other responses used to deliver Find, even when served from a different hostname. An endpoint used by our website is not an open data API.

Dividing prohibited collection across small requests, time, devices, accounts, IP addresses, people, or third parties does not make it permitted. Free access, sharing permission, and a noncompeting purpose do not grant permission to extract or redistribute the directory as a database.

Competitive Copying & Misuse

In particular, you must not:

  • Copy, translate, repackage, or mirror listings or results into a competing product, including lightly edited versions.
  • Use Find to seed, check, enrich, or keep a competing provider database up to date, even if other sources supply the rest of that database.
  • Build contact, lead, marketing, recruitment, or prospecting lists; send bulk or unsolicited outreach; or facilitate spam, harassment, impersonation, or profiling.
  • Sell, license, rent, trade, or supply extracted directory information or derived datasets to build or support a competing product.
  • Remove attribution, ownership notices, or source information, or present copied Find material as your own or as an authorized Mindwell service.
  • Embed, frame, or rebrand Find pages or copied results as another service’s directory, or imply an affiliation or endorsement that Mindwell has not authorized.

These restrictions apply even when access is free, information appears publicly, a profile is unclaimed, or you charge nothing for the resulting product. A provider’s listing or willingness to receive client inquiries does not authorize harvesting their information for unrelated outreach.

No AI Training Or Harvested Datasets

Without Mindwell’s prior written permission, do not use content obtained through Find to train or fine-tune AI or machine-learning models or to create or supply a training corpus. This applies even if the model or organization does not compete with Mindwell. AI may assist with the sharing and discovery expressly permitted above without using the retrieved material for training.

Do not convert harvested listings into embeddings, synthetic profiles, or another derived dataset to recreate or supply a directory, database, or competing product. Only the limited technical indexes described under Search & AI Discovery are permitted without a separate agreement.

Do not arrange for another person or service to carry out prohibited collection, training, or reuse for you. Mixing Find information with other sources, removing identifiers, paraphrasing descriptions, or processing it through a model does not authorize prohibited use. These restrictions do not claim rights over information lawfully obtained independently from another source.

No Circumvention Or Service Abuse

Do not bypass or attempt to bypass rate limits, access controls, sign-in requirements, bot challenges, blocks, or other protections. This includes rotating proxies, IP addresses, devices, or accounts to evade limits; disguising automation as an ordinary visitor or authorized search crawler; reusing another person’s credentials; or continuing restricted activity through someone else.

Do not impersonate others, submit false reports, misuse personal or professional information, attempt unauthorized access, or interfere with Find’s operation. An absence of technical blocking does not authorize prohibited conduct.

Content Rights & Independent Information

Mindwell and its licensors retain their rights in Find’s software, design, original content, and the selection and arrangement of the directory, including database rights where applicable. Providers and other rights holders retain their rights in their own material.

We do not claim ownership of public facts, of a professional’s identity, or of information you lawfully obtain independently from another source. These terms govern access to and use of Find and material obtained through Find. They do not restrict fair use or other rights that applicable law does not allow us to limit by contract.

Permissions & Enforcement

For a data license, integration, or other use outside the permissions above, contact [email protected] before starting. Describe the information, purpose, collection method, scale, recipients, and retention you propose. Silence, prior access, or permission from a listed provider alone is not permission from Mindwell to collect or reuse the directory.

To address misuse, we may limit or block access, suspend accounts, or revoke permissions. On notice, you must stop the prohibited use and remove copies collected or reused in breach of these terms, except where applicable law requires retention or permits the use despite these terms. Ending access does not grant a right to continue using previously collected material. We may seek court orders and other remedies available under applicable law; no particular remedy or outcome is guaranteed.

Availability & Responsibility

We work to keep Find useful and accurate, but cannot promise uninterrupted access, error-free information, or a particular outcome. To the extent allowed by applicable law, the service is provided as available, without warranties about provider suitability or results.

We may update features, correct or remove listings, or restrict access when needed to protect users, address misuse, or comply with law. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be excluded.

Changes, Questions & Corrections

We may update these terms as Find changes. The date above identifies the current version. Where the law requires additional notice or agreement, we will provide it.

For listing concerns, use Suggest A Correction. For questions about these terms or the service, contact [email protected].
